Arman Newton Begins Competing In Florida
Junior golfer Arman Newton began competing in the Optimist Junior Golf Championships in Florida.
Newton — who was recently crowned the ICS/CobraPuma Junior Championships boy’s 12 – 14 champion — is representing the Bermuda Golf Association at the event, which is being held at the Trump National Doral Resort and Spa in Florida.
Competing in the boys 12-13 division, Newton posted a 19 over par score of 91, to finish T72nd. He carded 4 pars, 11 bogeys, and 1 double bogey and 2 triple bogeys.
