Chatmore ConnectEd Introduces IB Online
Chatmore British International School‘s online provision, Chatmore ConnectEd, is adding the International Baccalaureate Diploma to their suite of online learning offerings.
A spokesperson said, “As a hybrid school, Chatmore British International School’s online provision, Chatmore ConnectEd, is now among the world leaders in online schools with the introduction of the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma to their suite of online learning offerings.
“By way of their partnership with Kings Interhigh who recently announced they are the only school in the world to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Online [IB Online], Chatmore ConnectEd is solidly among the world leaders in online schools offering the first ever IBDP Online starting this September 2022 for students aged 16-19.
“Through the IB Chatmore brings in a variety of elements to enhance the educational experience, from VR learning to engaging projects away from the computer. For qualifying students, it also provides a more affordable opportunity to engage the IB Programme than is currently available on island.
“With more than 40 years of academic excellence in delivering the International Baccalaureate®, and powered by over 16 years of online experience at Kings Interhigh, Chatmore ConnectEd is thrilled to now bring the IBDP fully online in Bermuda.
“Students aged 16-19 can now earn an online IB Diploma with our IBDP pilot — offering flexible learning from anywhere in the world. We are thrilled to offer the world-renown curriculum and more-so because this is the first time in history the programme is being offered fully online accessibly and affordably. Since its official launch in May we have received an incredible level of interest in this programme and 10 students have already enrolled”.

“The IB Online school is enrolling a limited number of students and will offer 32 live lessons per week, with IB subject specialist teachers, in the UK Time Zone. In keeping with IB standards, the programme is designed for academically ambitious students who want to study at a top university anywhere in the world but can’t afford the high fees that private schools charge.
