Swift Finishes 37th In Commonwealth Fencing
The 2022 Commonwealth Fencing Championships is underway in London, with Bermuda athletes in action.
14-year-old Rhys Swift competed in the junior men’s sabre class, where he finished tied for 37th.
Swift, a Warwick Academy student, has been attending fencing classes at St Paul’s Church Hall in Paget for the past four years.
The Championships is his second international competition, having competed at the Arnold Fencing Classic at the Ohio Expo Centre in Columbus, Ohio, in March.
