Archers Continue In CAC Games Qualifiers
Bermuda archers continued competing in the VIII Copa Merengue, which is a world ranking event and is the second qualifier tournament for the Central American and Caribbean Games.
The second day saw the Recurve Men’s Team competition, with Bermuda finishing 4th.
The Bermuda team of Camerin Pickering, Bernard Wade III, and Jaydon Roberts took on the host country Dominican Republic in the first round, and the match went down to a shoot-out with Bermuda winning 5 – 4.
The Bermuda team would then take on Cuba where they lost 6 – 0, and in the bronze medal match, Bermuda went down to the British Virgin Island 5 – 1.
