Footballers in both the Premier Division and First Division were in action this weekend, with North Village Rams, St. George’s Colts, Wolves, and Young Men Social Club all earning wins.
Premier Division
North Village Rams 4 Somerset Trojans 0
At the Bernard’s Park, the North Village Rams defeated the Somerset Trojans 4 – 0.
Nacori Smith gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 22nd minute, Jaizel Smith Deshields doubled the lead in the 41st minute.
Tre Ming made it 3 – 0 to the North Village Rams in the 59th minute, and then two minutes later Tahmi Williams would make it 4 – 0 to the home team.
St. George’s Colts 11 Robin Hood 1
At the Wellington Oval, the St. George’s Colts defeated Robin Hood 11 – 1.
Jonte Smith scored four times in the match for the St. George’s Colts, while Blaiz Hall, Keishon Wilson, and Malachi Trott added two goals each, and Manoj Paynter added the other. Dante Leverock scored the lone goal for Robin Hood.
First Division
Wolves 2 Devonshire Colts 1
Wolves edged the Devonshire Colts 2 – 1 at the Wellington Oval.
Morricko Iris gave Wolves the lead in the 11th minute, but Keino Burch equalized for the Devonshire Colts in the 25th minute.
Samario Valasse-Paul gave Wolves the lead with what proved to be the winner in the 67th minute.
Young Men Social Club 4 Ireland Rangers 2
At the Police Field, Young Men Social Club jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead in the first half helping them win 4 – 2 over Ireland Rangers.
Ryan Parris scored three times within the first 35 minute for Young Men Social Club, while Brighton Swan added the other, Tahj Wade, and Jahnai Ratteray both added a goal each for Ireland Rangers.
