An Honours and Awards Ceremony was held at Government House, with Queen’s Certificates and Badges of Honour presented, and Commissions and a Warrant presented to members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment.
Government House said, “Last night at Government House Her Excellency the Governor, Ms Rena Lalgie, hosted an Honours and Awards Ceremony at which Queen’s Certificates and Badges of Honour were presented to deserving people from across the community as well as long service awards to members of the Bermuda Police Service, the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service and the Department of Corrections. The Governor as Commander-in-Chief was also pleased to present six Commissions and a Warrant to members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment.”
Why is Premier Burt there? We hate everything British right now because the Governor will not assent to a Bill that would have us breach our international treaty obligations!
