According to data from Google Trends, worldwide search interest for Dame Flora Duffy skyrocketed 3,233% in the past week, with this online interest in the Bermudian triathlete coinciding with her record setting win in the World Triathlon Championship, when she became the first woman ever to win four WTS World Triathlon titles.

Dame Flora has now won in excess of a dozen world championship titles across the various federations, as in addition to her four WTS titles, she holds multiple ITU World Titles, and is a six-time winner of the XTERRA World Championships.

Following her Olympic medal winning performance in 2021, Dame Flora ranked as the top Google trend in two nations, 11th for real time searches in sports worldwide and 30th in all categories, which is a massive feat considering the search giant reportedly processes over 60,000 search queries every second, as in over 5 billion searches per day.
