Fresh Air Films Event Cancelled Due To Weather
The Fresh Air Films Event scheduled to take place on Friday [Dec 16] has been cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather.
A spokesperson said, “The City of Hamilton regrets to announce that the Fresh Air Films event scheduled for Friday, December 16th has been cancelled due to the forecasted inclement weather.
“This event was scheduled with no rain date due to the busy Christmas season and additional City commitments.
Director of Marketing and Communications, Jessica Astwood, said of the cancellation, “It’s always a disappointment to have to cancel these family events but with bad weather approaching and the existing cold front, the tough yet best decision has been made for the well-being of all as well as the protection of the audio and visual equipment.
“We’ll look to stage the next Fresh Air Films event in the New Year.”
“The City apologizes for the cancellation.”
