Myeisha Sharrieff Wins Three Medals In Florida
Members of the Harbour Swimmers Club completed in the 32nd annual Speedo Championships in Plantation, Florida.
Harbour was represented by Head Coach Shona Palmer and swimmers Connor Hupman, Arabella Newport Derbyshire, Tallulah Parkinson, Myeisha Sharrieff, and Violet Smith. The event brought over 1,000 swimmers from the United States and the Caribbean.
Sharrieff swam to gold in the women’s 17 and over 50 yard backstroke in a time of 29.62. She then won the bronze medal in the women’s 17 and over 50 yard butterfly in a time of 26.43, before closing out the event by claiming another bronze medal, this time in the women’s 17 and over 100 yard backstroke in a time of 58.17.
