Bermudian Sings In Paramount Super Bowl Ad

Super Bowl? Super voices! A Bermudian and his wife have their singing talent showcased in a $7,000,000 ad that will air during the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chief’s Super Bowl today.
Chris West and his wife Deni Hlavinka’s voices can be heard during Paramount Plus’ commercial featuring Sylvester Stallone.
The Paramount Plus marketing campaign features celebrities on Paramount’s Mountain of Entertainment doing some sort of comedy. This commercial is no different. It features Stallone and his three daughters – Sophia, Scarlet, and Sistine, who all-star in a new reality series entitled “The Family Stallone.” Stallone also stars in the Paramount crime drama “Tulsa King” as mob capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
Other Paramount stars include Dora The Explorer, Captain Pike and Ensign Mariner from the Star Trek franchise, Lieutenant Dangle from Reno 911, and Beavis and butt-Head.
The plot of the commercial is Stallone attempting to scale the Sylvester Stallone Face carved into the side of the mountain while those at the base camp watch.
Chris and Deni’s blended voices can be heard at the 12-second mark singing in unions “Stallone.” Their voices can be heard again at the 56-second mark.
Mr West told Bernews, “The client – Paramount – was looking for a operatic/cinematic track to accompany Stallone hanging from a cliff. Deni arranged the choral parts, she sang the alto/soprano parts, and I sang the bass/tenor parts, then we doubled those parts to make it sound like a full choir.”
The couple met at the Berklee School of Music in Boston but now live in Los Angeles, which helps open up opportunities for them. Chris added that Deni collaborates with various producers on different jobs as a vocalist and/or arranger.
Mr West added he probably won’t be available to watch it during the big game but has already seen it. He expressed his thankfulness for this venture. I feel grateful to be a small part of it. Deni had much more of a footprint in this, and any time her work gets placed, I know it’s a great feeling, especially on such a big scale.”
