Dame Flora Will Not Compete In Season Opener
Dame Flora Duffy — the reigning Olympic, World and Commonwealth champion — has decided not to compete in the 2023 World Triathlon Championship Series season opener in Abu Dhabi on March 3rd.
In a post on Instagram, Dame Flora Duffy said, “It has been a while since I posted. I have been enjoying my time in South Africa and building training slowly. I wanted a slower start to the year so I’m skipping the first round of the WTCS series. Plus I’m rehabbing a knee injury I picked up last year. More on that at some point.”
