Daniel Phillips claimed the Battle of Boca Tournament title in Florida after concluding competition in the men’s open singles division.
In his first match of the final day, Phillips took on Miguel Angel Cabrera from Chile in the semi-finals, but Cabrera withdrew after sustaining an injury while winning his quarter-final match.
Phillips then took on Bernardo Munk Mesa from Spain in the final, claiming the win in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
