Anti-Slavery Tour & Museum Visit On March 19

The African Bermudian Dispersion Cultural Tour is holding an Anti-Slavery tour and visiting the National Museum of Bermuda on Sunday, March 19th.

A spokesperson said, “In recognition of The United Nations, International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade which is held every year on March 25th, the African Bermudian Dispersion Cultural Tour is offering an Anti-Slavery tour and visiting the National Museum of Bermuda in Dockyard on Sunday, March 19th from 11:30AM to 1:00PM and cost is $25 per person, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

“For over 400 years, countless men, women, and children were the victims of the tragic transatlantic slave trade, one of the darkest chapters in human history. This tragedy also included British Overseas Territories, such as Bermuda. On this tour you will hear the stories based on Britain’s Enslavement History in Bermuda. We cannot change the past, but we can learn from it to make a better future.
