Leverock Stars For Bermuda At Qualifiers

Kamau Leverock emerged as the star performer for Bermuda at the ICC T20 World Cup Americas Sub-Regional Qualifier in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Leverock helped Bermuda top the group with four straight wins to advance to the final regional qualifier on home soil in October and September.
The Cayman Islands and Panama also qualified and will join Canada and hosts Bermuda in battling it out to decide which nation reaches the World Cup, to be held in the West Indies and the United States in June next year.
Leverock played four innings at the qualifying tournament, scoring 202 runs, including 103 against Panama, averaging 67.33 and having a strike rate of 166.94.
He also claimed six wickets, including three for 15 against the Cayman Islands, for an average of 8.16 and an economy rate of 4.08.
