Man Charged In Connection With Explosion
A 53-year-old man was charged in Magistrates Court today [May 2] in connection with the explosion at an apartment building in Southampton that resulted in the deaths of Jove and Oscar Mascarinas in May 2022.
Robert Tota was charged in connection with the matter, and he was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard in the Supreme Court, ZBM reported. The defendant faced charges alleging gross negligence, with it alleged that he installed a gas oven at the residence.
He is set to re-appear in the Supreme Court at the arraignment session on June 1st.
