Bermuda Arts Centre’s ‘Summer Open’ Show

This Friday [June 16], the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will debut its ‘Summer Open’ exhibit at the Washington Mall.

A spokesperson said, “We invite everyone to the opening of our show ‘Summer Open’.

“The show will open at 11:00am at the Wall of Words in the Washington Mall [Church Street entrance].

“There is no theme for this show and artists have been given the opportunity to create freely. This has led to an interesting mix of art being entered, from paintings to mixed media.

“It will be an all day affair at the Washington Mall with work ready for sale from 11:00am to 6:00pm.

“We will be setting up from 10:00am and all are welcome to take an early browse for purchase.

“The show is held at the Wall of Words in the Washington Mall, located at the top of the stairs [above Beluga Bar] at their Church Street entrance.

“The show will be taken down from the Washington Mall at the end of the day and rehung at The Bermuda Arts Centre, where it may be viewed and purchased until September 1.

“This is a revolving summer show, so as work sells it will be replaced with new pieces.

“Work can be viewed and purchased online from Saturday [June 17] onwards.

“If you are looking for the perfect gift, then we suggest you take a look at this show. There is art in all sizes and price ranges, certain to fit every need and budget.

“The Bermuda Arts Centre is open every day from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Free admission and wheelchair accessible.
