Video: Heroes Day Tribute To Dr. Kamarakafego
One Body in Christ Movement For God’s Purpose has created a video tribute to Bermuda National Hero Dr. Pauulu Kamarakafego.
A spokesperson said, “For the past two years One Body in Christ Movement For God’s Purpose, [an Island Wide Liturgical Dance and Creative Arts Ministry] has been inspired to celebrate and honour one National Hero each year through dance, music, mime and or videography.
“In 2021 we celebrated Dame Lois Brown Evans with assistance from her daughter Tina Evans Caines. In 2022 we celebrated Dr. E F Gordon with assistance from his two daughters Dame Pamela Gordon and Patricia Pamplin.
“This year we celebrate Dr. Pauulu Kamarakafego aka Roosevelt Brown. We have been assisted by his daughter Rronniba Kamarakafego, local Artist Robert Sai Emery singing his original song “Awesome God” and local videographer R. Lyle Millett owner of Eyes of the Eagle Productions.
“We consider it an honour to celebrate our own using our own creative arts.”
