Football: Bermuda To Play French Guiana

The Bermuda Football Association shared match details for the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League [CNL] Group Stage matches taking place during the upcoming September FIFA Match Window.

A spokesperson said, “Concacaf previously announced on February 28, 2023, that at the start of the 2023/24 CNL, the competition’s format had been changed to include more direct elimination matches.

“These matches would qualify teams for the continental summer competitions.

“The three-League format remains, with the region’s 41 men’s senior national teams being
distributed into their respective Leagues according to the 2022/23 CNL results. Based on the Gombey Warriors previous CNL campaign, they are in League B.

League B: CNL Group Stage

“Per the Concacaf competition regulations, League B features 16 teams divided into four groups of four teams. Each team will play every other team in their group, home and away, for six matches per team [three at home and three away].

“The four groups are as follows:

• Group A: Guadeloupe, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Sint Maarten.
• Group B: Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Montserrat, and Barbados.
• Group C: French Guiana, Bermuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Belize.
• Group D: Guyana, Antigua and Barbuda, Puerto Rico, and Bahamas.
