‘Unknown Male Driver’ Escapes After Collision
The police confirmed that “inquiries continue regarding a reported two vehicle collision” in which a female car driver was injured and an ”unknown male driver” escaped on the back of a motorcycle.
A police spokesperson said, “Inquiries continue regarding a reported two vehicle collision that occurred around 9:50pm Friday, 28th July 2023.
“It appears that the two cars involved were being driven in opposite directions along Dutton Avenue in Pembroke, near North Street, at the time.
“Apparently as a result of the collision one of the cars, said to be driven by a 33-year-old Hamilton parish woman with a 39-year-old Hamilton parish male passenger, was pushed into a nearby fence.
“It is understood that the other car was then driven to Dellwood Middle School parking lot, with the unknown male driver attempting to fix that car before making good his escape on the back of a motorcycle, along North Street toward Angle Street.
“The female car driver was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance, for treatment of shoulder pain.
“No one else reported being injured. However, both cars were damaged.
“The unknown male car driver is described as black, of stocky build in his mid to late 30s, wearing a pink T-shirt.
“Any witnesses or persons with relevant information are encouraged to call Constable Taye Lambe on 211 or e-mail tlambe@bps.bm.”

So they have the car he was driving? It has a VIN and an engine serial number. Should be fairly easy to determine who owns the vehicle if it’s unlicensed, somebody knows something.
