Great Sip & Paint Raises Money For Autism
More than $10,000 was raised for autism charity Tomorrow’s Voices at the Fifth Annual Great Sip and Paint for Autism Fundraiser last Sunday [October 1].
Held at the BDA Society of Arts at City Hall, more than 80 people attended the event, which challenged participants to paint their “masterpieces” while being entertained by the sounds of DJ Fury.
Local artist Robyn Hooper was on hand to share her knowledge and advice with participants.
Stacy Hill, the Tomorrow’s Voices funding and development officer, said all funds raised will go to supporting individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities.
Chubb, Burrows Lightbourn Ltd, Belco, One Communications, Barritt’s, Demco, and DJ Fury sponsored the event.
