One Comm Donates Groceries To 50 Families

One Communications donated groceries to 50 families associated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda.

A spokesperson said, “This charitable endeavor aims to alleviate some of the challenges faced by these families, particularly in light of rising inflation, and reinforce the spirit of giving within our community.”

“We are deeply committed to making a positive impact and are honoured to support Big Brothers Big Sisters in their mission of creating positive change in the lives of children.” said Shira Jatto, Marketing Communications Director at One Communication.

“In speaking with Patrina, it became evident that families were struggling with grocery items, school snacks and household items. We believe that by providing these groceries, we are not only nourishing their bodies, but also their spirits, and we hope that our contribution can ease some of the challenges these families face.”

“This generous donation comes at a time when our families need it most,” said Patrina O’Connor-Paynter, Managing Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bermuda. “It is a testament to the kindness and generosity of our community. We are deeply thankful to One Communications for their support, which will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.”

    Dunkley’s Milk $9..last week special $6.70
    Orange Juice $9
    One bag of oranges and apples $11 each
    much needed and only 5 items at $50.00+ weekly.
    If you really want to assist… stop with the (photo oops) and enlarge the bags to (more) families.

      Thankfully, price inflation in Bermuda has been far below that of the U.K., U.S. or Canada for the past few years.

      Imagine what prices would be like if Government had not controlled the rate of price inflation in Bermuda!

    God job and great idea. Every bit helps. Hair, nails, feet eyelashes nor body enhancements keep food in cupboards, affordable places to live or clothes on the backs of children.

    Also young ladies if you are struggling raising one child for any reason option birth control or abstinence.
    Young men enough. Simple step up. Play your part.

    It really is not societies responsibility to support other people’s offsprings. It is not necessary to them and you. Responsibility has to be taken. Blame stopped.
