Sandys Defeat Watford In Snooker Opener
The 2023/24 Snooker League Season kicked off with a single match.
At the Watford Sports Club, Peter Bromby secured a 1-0 lead for Sandy’s Boat Club by winning the first of two games against Watford’s Keino Zuill with a score of 59-24.
Watford’s Kidd Mouchette then evened the score when he defeated Sandy’s Captain, Martin Siese, in the first of their two games with a score of 47-27.
Paul Fedden later reclaimed the lead for Sandys, winning the first of two games against Watford Captain, Aaron Bean, with a score of 47-33.
Bromby extended Sandy’s lead to 3 by defeating Watford’s Zuill 40-28 in the second of their games.
However, Mouchette narrowed the deficit to 1 by defeating Siese 56-20 in their second game.
In the night’s final match, Fedden secured the fourth victory for Sandy’s Boat Club by defeating Aaron Bean in their second game with a score of 59-9..
