Bermuda Swimmers Compete In Pan Am Games
Emma Harvey, Jack Harvey and Sam Williamson participated in the second day of swimming at the Pan American Games in Chile.
Williamson secured a 7th-place finish in Heat 2 of the men’s 200m freestyle, recording a time of 1:57.37, ultimately ranking 21st overall.
Emma Harvey achieved a time of 1:01.40, earning 3rd place in Heat 2 of the women’s 100m butterfly, advancing her to the B final. In the women’s 100m butterfly B final, Emma Harvey claimed the top spot, finishing with a time of 1:00.72, placing her 9th overall.
Jack Harvey recorded a time of 2:05.13, securing a 4th-place finish in heat 2 of the men’s 200m backstroke. Jack Harvey advanced to the B final and improved his performance, finishing the men’s 200m backstroke B final in a time of 2:04.57, which placed him 12th overall.
