There are Olympic points, Olympic time standards and even Olympic spots at all the events our athletes have qualified for. They will do Bermuda proud on the world stage and I will do everything as Chef to ensure their journey to the Games, and at the Games, is as smooth as possible and they are able to focus only on their competitions.”

“I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to compete at the Pan Am Games in Santiago, Chile. Competing at major games always brings an added pressure and intensity to the race which has really been motivating me to raise my level in these last few training blocks. I’m in great shape and looking forward to showing my form on a big stage ahead of the last year of Olympic qualifying for 2024,” shared Tyler Smith.

Adriana Penruddocke commented, “I’m really excited to be selected for the Pan Am Games and am looking forward to giving my best against the best in our region for a chance of a country qualification spot. Kaden Hopkins expressed “I’m really looking forward to competing at Pan-American games with Bermuda. I enjoyed the junior Pan Am games in 2021 and I’m looking forward to doing the elite one this year against the higher level of competition. These big games are always very important goals for me and this season, it will be my last race of the year and I will get to close out a long season in the Bermuda colours. The level of the competition in Chile will be very high, but I know Conor and I are both motivated and looking to perform the best we can in the time trial and road race and I think we’re capable of good results in both. It will be a great games!”

Maddy Moore on her selection said, “I am extremely excited to have been selected to compete at the Pan Am Games in Santiago.
