Two People Injured In Motorcycle Collision
Two people were injured in a collision involving two motorcycles last night [Oct 27] in Hamilton parish.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 9:55 p.m. on Friday, October 27th 2023, Police and other first responders were dispatched to a reported serious road traffic collision involving two motorcycles on North Shore Road near the junction with Workman’s Lane, Hamilton Parish.
“Both riders were reportedly in and out of consciousness. Upon arrival, officers were informed one of the motorcycle riders, a male, had left the scene in a private vehicle. He later arrived at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with facial and other injuries described as non-life-threatening.
“The other rider, also a male, was laying on the roadway. He was attended to at the scene by EMTs and subsequently transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. It was later ascertained he sustained minor injuries.
“The roadway was closed for approximately three hours and traffic diversion put in place while the scene was forensically processed.
