Deputy Premier Meets Tony Blair At COP28
During this week’s UN Climate Change Conference COP28 in Dubai, Deputy Premier Walter Roban had an opportunity to meet former UK Prime Minister Sir Tony Blair.
The Government posted the image below, and said, “Deputy Premier and Minister of Home Affairs, the Hon. Walter Roban, had an opportunity to meet Sir Tony Blair, KG, former UK Prime Minister during this week’s COP28 conference.
“As the public is aware, Premier David Burt and Minister Roban have joined other Overseas Territories [OT] leaders, UK Ministers, and global Heads of State in the United Arab Emirates [UAE] for COP28.
“As a reminder, the Deputy Premier will represent Bermuda during the key discussions and forums about the impact of climate change on Caribbean nations. On Dec. 4th, Minister Roban will be the keynote speaker at the SDG Disruptor Summit.”
