Sam Williamson Breaks Bermuda Open Record

Sam Williamson began competing in the GoCardless Swimming England Short Course National Winter Championships.

On the first day, Williamson compete in the boy’s 200m individual medley preliminaries.

In heat three of the preliminaries, Williamson finished second clocking a personal best time of 2:01.74, which broke a 23 year old Bermuda open record, previously held by Stephen Fahy of 2:01.85 set back in 2000, and earned him a spot in the A final.

In the open male 200m individual medley A final, Williamson finished 10th in a time of 2:01.79.
