Kempe & Patton Continue Event In Australia
Sebastian Kempe and Campbell Patton were back in action competing in the Oceania & Australian Open & Youth Laser Championships 2023 hosted by the George’s River Sailing Club.
Only one race was able to be sailed on the day in the ILCA 7 Class, Kempe fell six places from his starting position of 31st to 37th with 82 net points, while Patton remained in 65th with 136 net points.
Kempe fell to second place in the Under-21 Division, Theodor Middelthon from Norway leads with 73 net points, and Lachie Weber from Australia is third with 90 net points.
Kempe had a 14th-place finish in the only race of the day and the 6th of the series, while Patton finished 31st in the days only race.
