PALS Charity To Host Annual Walk On Feb 25
The PALS charity will host their 36th Annual Walk on February 25th, offering a choice of 3K, 5K, or 10K distances along the Railway Trail, with a virtual walk option also available.
The event poster says that interested residents can register online at www.racedayworld.com, choose ‘In Person Walk’ or ‘Virtual Walk,’ and stand a chance to win a Garmin or ‘Wellness’ bag from BF&M. The registration fee is $30 for adults and $15 for children [5-15 yrs].
The event serves as a fundraiser for the charity which has a mission to “provide cancer patients with quality care primarily in the home setting in order to enhance quality of life” and to “provide support and assistance to cancer patients and their families.”
