CariGenetics Launches WeGut2Know Challenge
CariGenetics, along with local partners, launched the #WeGut2Know National Health Challenge, offering participants a chance to win $2,500 while promoting gut health awareness and wellness.
A spokesperson said, “CariGenetics, in collaboration with Wholistic Wellness, Nourished Bermuda, Eat Clean Bermuda, and The Brand Development Group, is thrilled to introduce the #WeGut2Know National Health Challenge. This innovative competition aims to engage the Bermuda community in understanding and enhancing gut health, a crucial component of overall health and well-being.
“The challenge seeks to educate and inspire positive lifestyle changes, ultimately contributing to a healthier Bermuda. Each participant will receive over $1,600 in services free-of-charge, including 5 health consultations with a nutritionist/health coach from Wholistic Wellness, 5 meals prepared by Nourished and/or Eat Clean Bermuda, and 2 CariGenetics Gut2Know kits.
“Selected participants will embark on a transformative journey, beginning with a Gut2Know test to assess initial gut health. Guidance from nutritionists at Wholistic Wellness will assist contestants in improving their gut health over several months. Meals prepared by Nourished and Eat Clean Bermuda will support this lifestyle change.
“Another Gut2Know test will be conducted after three months to assess improvements with guidance from nutritionists at Wholistic Wellness. The contestant who demonstrates the most improvement in gut health will win the $2500 cash prize.
“CariGenetics is inviting 15 individuals to participate in this groundbreaking challenge, along with five celebrity contestants playing for charity. The celebrity contestants include:
- Nadanja Bailey – playing for the Women’s Resource Centre
- Gavin Manders – playing for Port Royal PTA
- Caitlyn Conyers – playing for The Family Centre
- Mr Fotogenik – playing for Dalton E Tucker PTA
- Dr Carika Weldon – playing for Big Brother Big Sisters Bermuda
“The $2,500 grand prize for the winner is sponsored by The Brand Development Group, a marketing, public relations, and event management firm dedicated to supporting organizations empowering the community through health and wellness initiatives.”
