Mewett & Cechini In Action For Mercersburg
Teagan Mewett and her Mercersburg Academy women’s swimming teammates defeated La Salle College High School and Mount Saint Joseph Academy, while Thomas Cechini and his Mercersburg Academy men’s swimming teammates lost 111 – 74 to La Salle College High School.
In the 200-yard medley relay, Teagan Mewett swam the second leg of Mercersburg Academy’s girls’ B team, which secured a 2nd place finish with a time of 1:51.14.
During the 200-yard individual medley event, Mewett finishing third with a time of 2:18.29.
Thomas Cechini clocked in at 4:50.49 to secure a 2nd place finish in the boys’ 500-yard freestyle and also contributed as the anchor leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where Mercersburg Academy’s boys’ B team finished in 2nd place with a time of 1:29.42.
In the boys’ 400-yard freestyle relay, Cechini started things off as the first leg of Mercersburg Academy’s A team, which achieved a 2nd place finish with a time of 3:12.16.
