Phillips & Arizona Win Tennis Doubleheader
Daniel Phillips and his No. 22 Arizona State men’s tennis teammates won both their matches during the Friday doubleheader in the 5-2 win over Nevada and 4-0 decision over Grand Canyon.
In the victory over Nevada, Phillips played in the number six singles spot and he defeated Greg Valente 6-0, 6-1. Phillips also played in the number six singles spot in the match against Grand Canyon, he defeated Paolo Rosati [GCU], 6-3, 6-1.
Phillips teamed up with Jacob Bullard in the number three doubles spot and they defeated Wyatt Anderson, and Jonathan Da Silva 6-4.
