Daniel Phillips & ASU Win Pac-12 Opener
Daniel Phillips and his no. 20 Arizona State [ASU] men’s tennis teammates downed No. 24 UCLA 4 – 2 behind singles wins from Bor Artnak, Roi Ginat, and Constantinos Koshis – whose first singles win of the season clinched the match for ASU.
After the Pac-12 opener, ASU are now 1-0 in Pac-12 play and 8-2 in their last 10 matches.
ASU won the doubles point despite Phillips and Nicola Cigna falling 6-3 to Govind Nanda and Jorge Plans Gonzalez.
