Bermuda Win Opening Game Of FIFA Series
Late goals from Aunde Todd and Djair Parfitt-Williams gave Bermuda a 2-0 win over Brunei Darussalam in the FIFA Series at the Stadium King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Todd opened the scoring in the 81st minute with a header from a Zeiko Lewis corner before Parfit-Williams doubled the lead in the 88th minute with an impressive strike.
Coach Michael Findlay’s team face Guinea in their second game of the Fifa Series at the same venue on Monday.
The series is a pilot project launched to provide international friendly matches between teams from different federations who do not usually get opportunities to play each other.
