Kandia Hayward Wins ‘Mother Of The Year’
Kandia Hayward won the 53rd Mother of the Year award which was presented by the Continental Society of Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “The Continental Society of Bermuda would like to congratulate their 53rd ‘Mother of the Year’ winner, Ms. Kandia Hayward and her daughter, Jade Hayward. Jade is a P6 student at Victor Scott School. She wrote an endearing letter about her mom describing Ms. Hayward as her inspiration, and highlighted her mother’s positive attitude and always giving her best to others.
“Jade’s letter was a subtle reminder of how impactful a mother’s love and support can be in shaping the lives of her children. Jade and her Mom were honoured at an assembly held at the Victor Scott School on Wednesday, May 8.
“The Continentals would like to express a heartfelt thanks to all the students who participated in this year’s essay competition.”
