Photos/Video: Two Superyachts Visit St George’s
Two superyachts recently paid a visit to St. George’s, including the 233-foot long Juice and the 183.9-foot long Ambition.
The YachtCharterFleet website said, “The 71.1m/233’3″ motor yacht ‘Juice’ was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Kaag shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Peter Marino and she was delivered to her owner in April 2022. This luxury vessel’s exterior design is the work of RWD.”
The YachtCharterFleet website said, “The 56m/183’9″ motor yacht ‘Ambition’ [ex. Barbara Jean] was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their Aalsmeer shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house John Munford and she was completed in 2001. This luxury vessel’s exterior design is the work of De Voogt and she was last refitted in 2017.”
Does anyone remember when a former head of the BTA kept on talking on and on about superyachts? However, he did not know the definition of a superyacht and that there are different classes of superyachts.
Remember, the law has been changed so that the BTA must do what the Minister of Tourism says. We have lost several good heads of the BTA for not “following orders”.
The Minister of Tourism? Say, that is the Big Guy, right? I wonder how many superyachts he has been on in his official duties.
