Two people have been injured in a collision on Harbour Road this afternoon [June 24], the police have confirmed

A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:20pm, Monday 24th June 2024, Police and Emergency Medical Services personnel were dispatched to a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a private motor car and a livery cycle on Harbour Road, Warwick, just west of the junction of Longford Road.

“It was reported that the rider and pillion passenger of the livery cycle, both visitors to the island, sustained non-life-threatening leg injuries.

“Harbour Road is currently closed in the area of the collision and traffic is being diverted at the junctions of Harbour Road and Tamarind Vale as well as Harbour Road and Longford Road.

“Traffic delays are anticipated.”
