Powerade 5K Scheduled For Sunday July 7th
The Powerade 5K is scheduled for Sunday, July 7th, with the running and walking event starting and finishing at Butterfield & Vallis, Orange Valley in Devonshire.
A spokesperson said, “The race starts nice and early with the walkers setting off at 7.45am and the runners at 8.00am.
“All participants will receive a Powerade goodie bag plus all finishers [who are present] will be eligible for the draw with prizes including a Powerade mountain bike, Powerade rolling coolers, speakers and ice chests.
“Prizes will be awarded in the following categories – 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female runner – 13 & under; 14 – 17; 18 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; 60-69; 70+; 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female walker. Registration is online at www.racedayworld.com
“All proceeds from this race will go to the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club.
“Timing is supplied by Bermuda Timing Systems.
“Online entries close @ 6.00pm on Saturday, July 6th late registration & number pick-up is from 7.00am on raceday [July 7th] at Butterfield & Vallis at Orange Valley.”
