Visitor Injured In Collision In Southampton
A visitor was injured in a single vehicle collision occurred on Middle Road, in Southampton this morning.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:10am Friday, 12th July 2024, a reported single vehicle collision occurred on Middle Road, in Southampton.
“Early information indicates that the collision involved a visitor, who is understood to have sustained an arm injury, in the vicinity of Five Star Island.
“Currently, traffic diversions are in effect at the junctions of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road, as well as Middle Road and Church Road.
“A further update will be provided when more information is available.”
Update: The BPS said, “Traffic diversions are no longer in effect at the junction of Middle Road and Lighthouse Road, or the junction of Middle Road and Church Road. A further update regarding the injured individual is anticipated in due course. Inquiries continue regarding the circumstances of this collision and any witnesses are encouraged to call 211.”
