Bermudian motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine will compete as a guest rider for Sencat Talent Team – Mortimer Racing in the R&G Talent Cup at the iconic Brands Hatch in Kent, England, next weekend.
The 14-year-old will stand in for injured rider Alexander Rowan in the fourth round of the Moto3 class competition.
Divine previously raced for British development team Microlise Cresswell Racing in the opening two rounds of the eight-race series.
His deal at Microlise Cresswell Racing was cut short after the passing of team principal John Cresswell.
Rich Mortimer, the Sencat Talent Team – Mortimer Racing team manager, said: “After the excellent start for the team in 2024, we are pleased to be able to offer Aeziah this opportunity.
“We pride ourselves in developing the younger riders in the series and have already seen the raw talent and determination this young man has.”
Divine, who is based in Oxford, wrote on Facebook: “I’m really happy that I’ve got the chance to join Sencat, we met the team at Snetterton last week and loved the atmosphere and the vibe in the awning.
“I will be working hard to reward them and add to their already impressive results in 2024.”
