Dudley Eve: St George’s Colts & Paget Lions Win
The BAA Field witnessed a thrilling Dudley Eve doubleheader, featuring a total of nine goals across two matches.
Devonshire Cougars 2 – St George’s Colts 3
In the opening match, the St. George’s Colts staged a comeback to defeat the Devonshire Cougars 3-2. Kamali Davis gave the Cougars an early lead with an 8th-minute penalty kick. However, the Colts responded with a goal from Kashe Hall in the 20th minute.
Machi Battersbee put the Cougars back in front in the 31st minute, but Jahron Dickinson equalized for the Colts five minutes later. Just before halftime, Tah-Ki Tucker scored the eventual game-winner for the Colts.
Paget Lions 3 – Young Men Social Club 1
The second match, played under intermittent heavy rain, saw the Paget Lions secure a 3-1 victory over Young Men Social Club. Shakir Smith scored twice for the Lions, and Delray Rawlins added another goal. Giniko Butterfield scored the lone goal for Young Men Social Club.
