Advisory: Temporary IT Outage At Airport
The Ministry of National Security is advising “of a temporary IT systems outage affecting Immigration, Customs, and Health services at LF Wade International Airport.”
A Government spokesperson said, “An engineering team is onsite and working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
“In response to the outage, Customs and Immigration officers have seamlessly implemented emergency protocols, reverting to manual processing to ensure that passenger services continue with minimal disruption.
“While passenger volumes are generally low today, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., four flights carrying approximately 200 passengers are scheduled to arrive. The Ministry is confident that the measures in place will effectively manage this influx.
“The Ministry appreciates the patience and understanding of all travellers and stakeholders during this time and will provide an update as soon as possible.”
