Constable Denise Rodney Retires After 27 Years
Constable Denise Rodney has retired after 27 years of dedicated service to the Bermuda Police Service.
A police spokesperson said, “On Friday, 15th November 2024, Commissioner of Police Darrin Simons and his Senior Leadership Team recognised the retirement of Constable Denise Rodney after a 27 year policing career.
“During her time with the Bermuda Police Service [BPS], she has worked in various frontline policing units. Described by colleagues as an officer with a can-do attitude, who is always willing to assist, her work ethic was praised.
“Her positive community impact and calming influence was also highlighted, as well as her genuine caring for those that she comes into contact with, while carrying out her duties.
“Reminiscing about some of her experiences on the job, Constable Rodney expressed her love for policing, appreciation of her work family, plus her desire to leave a legacy of kindness and compassion.
“Thank you for your service Constable Rodney! We wish you all the best in your future endeavours.”
