FC Bascome Wins U13 Memorial Cup Final
FC Bascome Blue secured a decisive 5 – 0 victory over Warwick Football Academy in the final of the Gregory Grimes Under-13 Memorial Cup at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence Field.
Dash Bailey opened the scoring for FC Bascome in the 17th minute, followed by a goal from Cairo Burgess in the 35th minute, giving FC Bascome a 2-0 lead at halftime.
FC Bascome continued their strong performance in the second half. Substitute Mackay Browne found the net in the 40th minute, extending the lead to 3-0. Sami Luber added a fourth goal just two minutes later, and Deari Trott capped off the scoring with a goal in the 59th minute, securing a 5-0 victory for FC Bascome Blue.
Ja’Zhari Ingham was recognized as the Most Valuable Player for Warwick Football Academy, while Luber received the MVP award for FC Bascome Blue.
