North Village Claim Leonard DeRosa U15 Title
The North Village Rams secured the Under-15 Leonard DeRosa Holder Cup championship with a decisive 4-1 victory over the PHC Zebras.
Amir Brangman-Johnson opened the scoring for the Rams in the 11th minute, followed by a goal from Jason Dixon DeSilva four minutes later. Kruz Iris narrowed the deficit for the Zebras in the 22nd minute, but the Rams held a 2-1 advantage at halftime.
Malik Paynter extended the Rams’ lead with a goal in the 64th minute and sealed the win with his second goal in the 72nd minute.
