BSSF All-Star Netball Game Results
The East and West teams each claimed victories during the Bermuda School Sports Federation All-Star Netball night at Warwick Academy.
A spokesperson said, “The East and West each won a game at the Bermuda School Sports Federation All Star Netball night at Warwick Academy.
“The West won the middle school match with a 21-11 win over the East. BHS goalshooter led all scorers in the match with 12 goals. Fellow BHS player Hailey Oduori added six goals for the winners with Warwick Academy’s Kailee Ferreira chipped in with 3. Dellwood Middle School’s Dani Brown led the East with seven goals with Milena Millet from Somersfield Academy scoring 3. Dellwood’s wing defense Kse Jennings was named MVP for the East while Vongai Benza from BHS was named MVP for her wing attack play for the West.
“The West got revenge in the senior school match with a 28-13 win. CedarBridge Academy’s Jamir Hatherley had the hot hand scoring 17 goals for the East. Somersfield Academy’s Naomi Crofton added five goals for the East while CedarBridge’s Sydney Santos scored 4.
“Warwick Academy student student Star Brown led the West with seven goals. Classmate Amaya Husband scored three as did the fourth quarter’s goalshooter Sanaa Grant from the Berkeley Institute. Santos was named East MVP. Berkeley Center Neveah Thompson-Swan was named MVP for the West.”
