News that Brownies donated groceries to needy families, Glenn Jones won two Sound Bites Awards from the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association, BNT announced the winners of its Student Art Competition and Ryan Day won a Black British Theatre Award in London were all some of the positive news stories from the past week.

In additional good news Blake Montgomery scored his first goal for London Knights in their recent 6-5 win away to Saginaw Spirit, Jazuri Easton Thompson secured a podium finish at the prestigious Thor Mini O’s competition in Florida, Kane Crichlow scored twice for Chelmsford, Willie Clemons scores for Felixtowe and five young sailors — Noah Amaradasa, Evan Davis, Nina Gotfredsen, Rory Savage and Miguel Powers – will compete in 2024 Optimist World.
