Kaden Hopkins Thanks French Team Vendée U
Kaden Hopkins has reflected fondly on his two-year tenure with Vendée U, expressing that he is “forever grateful” for the opportunity to compete for the French development team.
Hopkins and Vendée U, a renowned feeder team for Team TotalEnergies, parted ways in November.
The 24-year-old, a team leader during his final season with the squad, wrote on social media yesterday [December 31]: “The end of two years with Vendée U.
“I will be forever grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, and the people I have met through this great team.
“Thank you to all the staff, presidents, and sponsors, and thank you for all the memories, boys! See you on the road.”
Hopkins achieved arguably the most significant performance of his career riding for Vendée U, capturing the green jersey at the prestigious Tour of Guadeloupe in September.
His impressive victory included triumphs in the third and final stages, propelling him to the top of the standings in a major tour for the first time.
