Easton Thompson Recognised By Top Magazine
Jazuri Easton Thompson has been recognised among the most influential amateur motocross riders by Motoplayground Magazine.
The Bermudian has been listed in the magazine’s Dirty 100 in the 250cc class in the 36th position on 42 points.
Easton Thompson, 17, reached a new milestone in his career, finishing third in the 250cc Limited Superclass main event at the prestigious Thor Mini O’s competition at Gatorback Cycle Park in Alachua, Florida, in November.
“Being a part of the Dirty 100 comes with privileges – a status that has to be earned,” read an article on the Motoplayground website.
“Motoplayground has always had a rooted passion for amateur motocross and its culture.
“A rider cannot buy their way on to the list – plain and simple.”
Easton Thompson trains full-time at the South of the Border Motocross Facility in South Carolina.
He recently won the expert class in the Bermuda Motocross Association’s Trophy Series at Bermuda Motorsports Park in Southside, St David’s, on New Year’s Day.
