Video: FDM Announce Three Election Candidates
[Updated] The Free Democratic Movement [FDM] is holding a press conference this morning [Jan 30] where they are expected to announce additional candidates for the upcoming 2025 General Election.
Prior to this press conference, the FDM has already announced seven candidates: Desmond Crockwell [C5], Shakera Richardson [C3], Ricardo Nesbitt [C17], Shermaine Riley-Murphy [C16], Kelzine Thompson [C21] Shalleya Codrington [C36] and Omar Dill [C18.]

Update: The FDM announced Kyle Bridgewater in C14, Quinton Sherlock in C2 and FDM Leader Marc Bean in C32.
Mr Bean will be running in C32 Southampton West, which is currently held by the PLP’s Scott Simmons who will stand for re-election, and will also be contested by the OBA’s Kellan Lewis.
Quinton Sherlock Jr will be running in C2 St. George’s West which is currently held by the the PLP’s Kim Swan and will contested by Mr Swan, the OBA’s Thomas Harvey and independent Tiffany Paynter.
Kyle Bridgewater will be running in C14 Devonshire North West which is currently held by the PLP’s Wayne Caines and will contested by the PLP’s Alexa Lightbourne, the OBA’s David Rogers and independent Noelle Young.
As of now, there are over 90 candidates in total for the 2025 General Election.
